What is Puregreen Africa Initiative?
Puregreen Africa Initiative is a non-profit environmental organization based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. We are committed to restoring and sustaining Africa’s natural ecosystem through large-scale tree planting, environmental education, and climate change awareness programs. Our mission is to combat climate change by using trees as natural carbon sinks that absorb carbon dioxide and improve air quality across African communities
Why is tree planting important in combating climate change?
Trees absorb carbon dioxide (CO₂), one of the major greenhouse gases responsible for global warming.
